Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a primary health care profession that deals with movement and function. By assessing the function of muscles, ligaments, joints, and nerves, physiotherapist will identify the root cause of the injury and develop a treatment plan to correct it. The goal is to restore mobility and strength in the body to get you back to work and play.

Eric completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honors at McMaster University and then graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Eric then completed his Fellowship in Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). This is the highest level of post-graduate orthopaedic training for physiotherapists internationally. FCAMPT therapist has extensive knowledge on anatomy, pathology, orthopaedic testing, and the most current best practice guidelines. Treatments with a FCAMPT therapist will include advanced manual therapy, which is hands on treatments for muscles, ligaments, joints, and nerves. Eric has also completed vestibular courses and has a special interest in treating conditions related to dizziness and vertigo. He has been a lab instructor at the McMaster University Physiotherapy program and continues to be a senior instructor at the McMaster Contemporary Acupuncture program.

Gahoi completed her Bachelor of Physical Therapy at Korea University and spent over seven years in private musculoskeletal practice in South Korea before moving to Canada. After relocating, she completed the Ontario Internationally Educated Physiotherapy Bridging Program (OIEPB) at the University of Toronto and now provides care in Toronto.

Clinically, Gahoi helps office workers with desk-related neck and low back pain, runners and active adults with sport-related injuries, and people living with persistent (chronic) pain. She combines manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation, drawing on training in Soft Tissue Release, Active Release Technique, the Mulligan and McKenzie concepts, and Movement Link. Having also worked as a Pilates instructor, she focuses on relieving symptoms and addressing the underlying drivers of pain, with clear home strategies for self-management and relapse prevention.

Committed to ongoing education and evidence-informed care, Gahoi has completed AIM Level 1 and is progressing through Level 2 courses toward the FCAMPT designation. She is also enrolled in Integrated Dry Needling (Sept 2025) to broaden her skills in managing complex musculoskeletal pain.

Najih obtained a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences with Honours at Toronto Metropolitan University and continued his education with a Masters in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. He has furthered his training with additional certifications in soft tissue release, medical acupuncture, and dry needling. Dry needling is a form of acupuncture that releases tension in tight muscular knots relieving muscular pain. Najih has also completed courses in Mulligan Manual Therapy Concepts. This is an advanced treatment technique to correct “tracking” issues within a joint helping improve joint flexibility while reducing pain.

Najih’s experience working closely with high level track and field athletes has given him a thorough understanding of biomechanics and its role in injury and performance. Najih has experience playing competitive soccer, providing him a strong grasp of the demands sport imposes firsthand.

Najih’s treatments are individualized and based on the findings of your initial assessment, which will uncover the root of your pain. He is highly proficient in treating musculoskeletal injuries which affect joints, ligaments, and muscles, as well as post-surgical and neurological cases. To assist with tissue healing; manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise will be used to achieve treatment goals. Education is incorporated to help you understand, manage, and prevent future injury.
